Responsibilities
You will work as a DevOps Product Manager (m/f/d) on complex platform and infrastructure projects, supporting our clients in making their digital ecosystems stable, scalable, and efficient.
You advise internal product lines on DevOps and SDLC best practices and define deployment strategies to enable a modern platform engineering approach.
You develop strategies, roadmaps, and priorities for DevOps tools and practices, such as CI/CD, artifact registries, and orchestration, ensuring maximum value delivery.
You establish success metrics and measurements for the digital factory, focusing on stability, velocity, and scalability to improve overall DORA metrics.
You collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, and Security teams to ensure that both technical and business requirements are clearly defined and effectively implemented.
You identify developer and operator needs, translate them into PRDs, feature requirements, and user stories, and manage a clear, outcome-driven backlog.
You bring hands-on experience with modern DevOps toolchains (e.g. GitLab, Harbor, Harness, ArgoCD, Artifactory, Renovate, Aqua, Jira) to continuously improve products and processes.
You build and maintain relationships with technology and service partners, integrating proven standards and innovative solutions into the overall platform landscape.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in technical product management, ideally in platform engineering or cloud.
DevOps practitioner (either certified or demonstrated by experience) with practical experience improving the technical delivery practices of IT/software organizations.
You understand the needs of developers and IT operators, ideally through past or current practical experience as a DevOps engineer or practitioner, or through deep technical product management.
Familiar with platform engineering and cloud-native concepts (Kubernetes, GitOps, etc.) and modern CI/CD tools for cloud-native development.
You don’t shy away from security and compliance while optimizing the developer experience.
You bring an agile mindset and are confident in Scrum or SAFe.
You prioritize outcome over output and focus on continuous value delivery.
Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus).
