About the role

DevSecOps & Platform Operations Lead designing and implementing cloud-native CI/CD pipelines for secure federal cloud modernization initiatives. Ensuring scalable, observable data platforms aligned with federal governance.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of **CI/CD pipeline**s for cloud-native analytics platforms
Implement **infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation**, or similar tools
Establish **automated testing frameworks (BDD/TDD/ATDD) within DevSecOps pipelines**
Integrate security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance controls into deployment workflows
Ensure production observability, logging, and monitoring across **AWS environments**
Support containerized workloads using **Kubernetes/EKS**
Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and ML teams to enable secure platform operations
Align platform operations with federal governance, ICAM, and data protection requirements
Drive continuous improvement of automation, reliability, and security posture

**Required Qualifications**
**U.S. Citizenship required**
**8+ years of progressive experience** in **DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or cloud operations roles**
Experience designing and managing **CI/CD pipelines in AWS environments**
Strong experience with **infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)**
Experience supporting containerized environments **(Kubernetes, EKS)**
Experience implementing automated testing within deployment pipelines
Experience integrating security scanning and compliance controls into **DevSecOps workflows**
Experience with monitoring and logging tools in production cloud environments
**Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance**
**Preferred Qualifications**
Experience supporting **USCIS** or other **DHS** component cloud modernization initiatives
Experience operating platforms supporting high-volume case management or adjudication systems
Expertise with Databricks platform integration and analytics environments
Experience working within federal governance, **ICAM,** and secure data access frameworks
**AWS Professional or DevOps certifications**
