About the role

• (Senior) Consultant in IT Strategy & CIO/CTO Advisory at Wavestone focusing on complex IT transformations. Engage with clients in a hybrid work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• You design, plan and take responsibility for complex IT transformation programs directly with our clients
• You use your knowledge and expertise to enable our clients to build their own knowledge management in the area of IT Strategy & CIO/CTO Advisory
• You promote the skills development of our Wavestone consultants by sharing your know‑how and mentoring them in project settings
• You contribute to Wavestone's business development by identifying business opportunities, participating in PreSales meetings (pitches, qualification sessions, presentations) or contributing to solution proposals
• You contribute to development initiatives and help grow both your own and our market visibility, e.g. through publications, topic development and go‑to‑market activities aligned with our service portfolio
• You benefit from close career support that enables rapid development: client‑focused leadership, continuous training and the opportunity to obtain relevant certifications

Requirements

• You have a strong interest in the consulting industry and at least three years of experience in the context of IT transformation, ideally in consulting
• Your professional background has enabled you to develop a solid understanding of one or more of the following areas: IT Strategy & Target Operating Model, Cloud, Digital Architecture, IT Organization, IT Sourcing & IT Service Management
• Thanks to your curiosity, you are able to quickly understand our clients’ requirements and specific needs
• You have strong critical and analytical thinking skills, excellent interpersonal manners and a pronounced sense of service and excellence
• You are a true team player with a strong personality capable of bringing together multidisciplinary teams
• You continuously develop yourself and your colleagues by building and sharing competencies
• You have successfully completed your studies and speak German and English at a business‑fluent level
