Responsibilities
- INSPECTS ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS, ASSEMBLIES, SUB ASSEMBLIES, COMPONENTS AND PARTS FOR DEFECTS AND CONFORMANCE TO SPECIFICATION.
- Examines outgoing units for physical defects and non-conformance to specification
- Reject faulty assembly, part, or component and records type and quantity of defects
- Records inspection data such as type, and percent of defects, and rework required.
- Calculates percentage of defective parts
- Prepares and submits DMR documentation
- Works with Suppliers/Customers to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Provide assistance to Production floor as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma.
- Basic understanding of Quality Standards (ISO/TS16949).
- IPC 610 Certification or ability to achieve within 6 months.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, process flow charts, and board layouts.
- Problem resolution skills and root cause analysis.
- Ability to use various measuring instruments effectively.
- Ability to analyze and organize information into easily understood instructions.
- Attention to detail.
