Responsibilities
Write and edit content for a variety of platforms, including the Waséyabek Intranet, NHBP’s Turtle Press, and more.
Audit Waséyabek suite of websites for content, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and clarity.
Develop content for distribution on Waséyabek’s social media channels.
Offer suggestions for enhancement on Waséyabek’s social media strategy.
Provide project management support for Waséyabek’s third-party vendors (public relations, video, and graphic design).
Develop innovative strategic marketing and communications approaches for immediate or potential adoption by Waséyabek or its family of companies.
Other marketing and communications duties, as assigned.
Requirements
Current student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field.
Sophomore standing or higher is preferred.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Strong writer with the ability to deliver effective messaging through storytelling.
Strict attention to detail, especially concerning the written word.
Basic understanding of the Adobe software suite (Creative Cloud), including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, and Acrobat.
Experience with photography, videography, and website design (WordPress and Elementor/Divi).
A deep commitment to understanding others and a drive to consistently deliver high-quality results.
