About the role
- Risk Expert III assessing and mitigating cybersecurity risks within Walmart's organization. Conducting vulnerability assessments and collaborating with stakeholders on risk management strategies.
Responsibilities
- Plays a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks within the organization.
- Conducting comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to safeguard network infrastructure and data assets.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement risk management strategies aligned with corporate policies and industry standards.
- Analyzing emerging threats and recommending security enhancements.
- Ensuring compliance with established frameworks to protect organizational integrity and support business objectives effectively.
- Reporting to the Director of Technical Controls Assessment and contributing to the assessment of solutions to be deployed across the Walmart enterprise while working with cross-functional teams and leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Information Security domain.
- Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, FISMA, ISO 27001, ISO 27002).
- Experience in cloud technologies (Azure/GCP).
- Understanding of technical architecture.
- Hold an information security certification (CISSP, CCSP, CISM).
- Have a customer-centric mindset.
- Compliance experience (Privacy, SOX, HIPAA, PCI).
- Strong leadership experience.
