About the role
- Governance Specialist overseeing regulatory compliance and operational governance for a leading securities services provider in Germany. Collaborating on audits and defining IT documentation standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring compliance with legal, regulatory and internal company requirements.
- Ensuring that technical and functional operational documentation is kept up to date.
- Translating regulatory requirements into concrete measures within processes and control structures.
- Reviewing individual requirements for applications (SaaS, in-house systems, etc.).
- Acting as a contact person in projects, internal audits or subject-matter exchanges.
- Supporting internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Experience in the development and operation of applications and infrastructures in a banking environment, particularly with regard to IKS (internal control system).
- Knowledge of the necessary ITSM processes, such as test management, change and release management.
- Advantageous: experience in drafting and aligning IT-related policies and directives.
- Experience with agile methods or project work is a plus but not required.
- Fluent German (C1) and good English (B2).
- Interest in regulatory issues and in developing and supporting governance requirements.
