About the role
- Business Technology Risk Advisor supporting risk management and process improvements at State Street. Collaborating with technology leaders and ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of process enhancements aligned with business objectives
- Own regulatory remediations within the area supported; support SME’s with closure documents and approach to closure.
- Assist in planning and executing projects aimed at risk reduction
- Apply re-engineering techniques to improve process efficiency, product quality, and data governance
- Collaborate on metrics development and use data to drive performance improvements
- Partner with second and third lines of defense to ensure alignment with risk management and control goals
- Implement and oversee data management and governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Security, Risk Management, or related discipline required
- Advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in risk management, auditing standards, and best practices, with at least 5 years in a leadership or advisory capacity
