About the role

  • Regional Manager managing public affairs and developing media relations in North Germany. Engaging with local stakeholders and fostering partnerships in Hamburg and surrounding cities.

Responsibilities

  • You represent the company in the region vis-à-vis authorities, municipal utilities, transport companies, and local stakeholders from administration, politics, institutions, and the urban community.
  • In coordination with executive management, the on-site Operations & Logistics leadership, and the sales offices, you are responsible for securing, implementing, and developing the company's existing advertising concession contracts and for acquiring new contracts in the region.
  • You are the primary contact for tender procedures related to advertising concession contracts in the Northern region.
  • As an important interface, you report to executive management and to other project leaders.
  • You are responsible for developing and maintaining a network within political and pre-political spheres in the mentioned partner cities.
  • You monitor and analyze current political developments and issues, and you particularly accompany regulatory legislative initiatives.
  • You are part of the company's digital transformation by driving the introduction and establishment of digital out-of-home advertising media.

Requirements

  • You hold a degree in Law, Political Science, Social Sciences, Economics, or a comparable qualification.
  • You have several years of professional experience at the interface between administration, politics, public enterprises, and business.
  • You bring solid knowledge of local and political structures in the region as well as a robust network.
  • You are strong in communication at all levels — both in-person and in writing — able to engage diverse stakeholders and convince them with your assertiveness and negotiation skills.
  • You work independently, in a structured manner, and with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Your strategic and analytical skills distinguish you and help you develop and implement concepts.
  • You are willing to travel within the region; occasional longer-distance business trips are also required.
  • Participation in evening and weekend events is not an obstacle for you and you enjoy doing so.
  • You have good user-level skills in MS Office.
