About the role
- Nurse Manager overseeing nursing service activities and ensuring patient care safety in the LTC hospital. Leading and managing nursing teams with a focus on high-quality patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of the nursing unit(s)/hospitals.
- Direct all nursing service activities for the hospital assigned by making recommendations for staff/patient ratios
- Maintain a system to determine and provide adequate staff for provision of appropriate nursing care
- Serve as a liaison between staff and administration
- Promote productivity of staff
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for nursing service in compliance with PAM Health system policies and procedures and accreditation standards.
Requirements
- Must possess RN licensure in good standing in the state where the hospital resides.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience is required and three (3) years of experience in nursing management is preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS required.
- Certification in a specified field preferred (CNE, CRRN, CCRN, PCCN).
