About the role
- Analyst supporting Flight Operations compliance with JetBlue's Safety Management System. Administering safety data and reports, monitoring implementation of safety strategies and practices.
Responsibilities
- Supports Flight Operations compliance with JetBlue Safety Management System (SMS) policies, procedures and risk controls
- Responsible for the administration of Flight Operations Safety data and reports including intake/triage support, tracking, analysis, and recordkeeping
- Monitors and reports on the implementation of strategies, initiatives and best practices
- Conducts risk assessments of potential operational hazards
- Analyzes data from events, self-assessments, inspections and audits to identify trends and recommend corrective actions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Safety, Aeronautical Science, Aviation Management, or another related field; OR a demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and four (4) years of relevant work experience
- One (1) year data analysis experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle sensitive/confidential safety information with discretion
- Able to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet team deadlines
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
