About the role
- Project and program management;
- Review and implement improvements to business processes using IT tools;
- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with business areas;
- Lead workshops with business units;
- Propose new process and IT solutions in compliance with VW Group standards;
- Conduct benchmarking with internal areas, the VW Group and external companies;
- Liaise with regional and global IT and business forums;
- Support international projects;
- Interface with VW senior management;
- Manage vendor services related to projects and day-to-day issues;
- Implement consistent solutions, respecting deadlines and budgets;
- Support the business area with day-to-day operational issues;
- Maintain a constructive relationship with business units;
- Prepare business cases for project approvals;
- Monitor project execution;
- Conduct meetings and lead working groups;
- Specify business and system requirements;
- Work on global projects interacting with companies across the VW Group
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Technology or related fields;
- Availability for short- and medium-duration travel;
- Advanced spoken English;
- Analytical and strong negotiation skills to understand needs and translate them into solutions;
- Proactive and autonomous in carrying out responsibilities relevant to the role;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team;
- Structured approach to tasks with strong project management capabilities;
- Rapid resolution and escalation of production issues in collaboration with vendors;
- Knowledge of Sales and Marketing processes, After-sales and Dealer operations;
- Act as the interface between IT and the business area, identifying and proposing improvements to work processes and adopting the best technological solutions in line with VW Group policies;
- Leadership, innovative mindset and teamwork;
- Experience with Agile methodology, ERP, SAP, Salesforce, MuleSoft, RPA, BI, cloud computing services and system integrations;
- Direct interaction with the head office for management of global projects;
