About the role

  • SAP SuccessFactors Consultant resolving incidents and optimizing business rules for VW Group. Involves troubleshooting integrations, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement of service quality.

Responsibilities

  • Resolving Incidents, Problems & Service Requests within SLA, including root cause analysis, impact assessment, and hypercare support.
  • Configuring and optimizing EC business rules, workflows, data models, RBPs, and ensuring data accuracy through audits and validation rules.
  • Handling technical EC and Platform issues such as workflow debugging, data inconsistencies, accesses (SSO/IAS) and integration‑related errors.
  • Developing, monitoring, and troubleshooting integrations using SAP CPI, SAP interfacing frameworks (SOAP, AIF).
  • Integrating Employee Central with other SAP modules and third‑party systems.
  • Preparing test cases and performing testing for releases and deployments.
  • Participating in workshops, gathering requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Documenting configurations, processes, integrations, and troubleshooting steps to support AMS knowledge building.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of AMS service quality and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience of at least 3 years with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, from understanding of functional processes (Position Management, Employee Lifecycle, Global Assignment, Contingent Workers, Time Management) to configuration, E2E implementations, and AMS support.
  • Experience designing and developing integrations with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
  • Experience with SAP interfacing technologies/frameworks.
  • Hands‑on experience configuring business rules, workflows, data models, and managing Role‑Based Permissions (RBP).
  • Ability to evaluate and document business requirements in a clear and structured manner.
  • Initiative to solve problems, think critically, and overcome roadblocks proactively.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, focused on costumer centered solutions.
  • Great English skills, both written and spoken.
