About the role
- Internship in Supply Chain Management providing insights into SCM processes at Vogelsang, a global machine engineering company in Germany. Collaborate on projects in production, inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Gain insight into the SCM teams: Production, Inventory Management, Procurement, Shipping and International
- Participate in the operational and strategic planning of the supply chain
- Actively contribute to analyses and optimizations of SCM processes
- Support ongoing projects
- Independently take on small SCM projects depending on suitability
- Take on small projects within SCM International
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration with a focus on SCM/Logistics, Logistics Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field of study
- Interest in processes and a business-oriented mindset
- Good MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Ideally, initial experience with ERP systems (e.g., proAlpha)
- Independent, structured and analytical way of working
- Strong communication skills and team spirit
- Good command of English is a plus
