Inventory Control Analyst managing inventory replenishment and procurement processes at FCL. Collaborating with vendors and teams to enhance operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Manage inventory replenishment for Foodservice and retail warehouse items, including special orders and opportunity buys.
Perform buying functions within Blue Yonder for assigned vendors, monitor forecasts, and maintain inventory turnover targets.
Ensure product quality and minimize shrink by monitoring date-sensitive items, resolving system mismatches, and coordinating timely transfers.
Maintain vendor and item data in systems (Blue Yonder, CICS, Merch OPS), set up new items, and handle EDI and cross-dock issues.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on promotions, procurement projects, and inventory balancing; provide backup support to Supply Chain Managers.
Deliver exceptional customer service internally and externally, participate in vendor meetings, and assist with price updates and promotional planning.
Requirements
Have 1-3 years of relevant experience. Experience in buying would be an asset.
Have a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration or Commerce. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
Are familiar with Microsoft Office software such as Excel and Outlook. Working toward Project Management Association of Canada (PMAC) will be considered an asset.
