About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage complete accounting activities for the designated area in collaboration with the RMA team.
- Prepare month‑end reports ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Complete month‑end processes including journals, reports, reconciliations, and ad hoc reporting tasks.
- Conduct financial analysis on key performance metrics and provide insights on request.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and conduct P&L reviews with variance analysis.
- Deliver clear commentary for the assigned business area.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, supporting them with relevant financial information and analysis.
- Provide monthly Forecast vs Actual and Month‑on‑Month analysis to support decision‑making.
- Support SOX controls and respond to internal and external audit requirements.
Requirements
- A certified accounting professional (CA/CWA/ACCA) with 4–6 years of post‑qualification experience in shared services or the telecom sector.
- Alternatively, a partly qualified accountant (CA Inter/CWA Inter) or an MBA in Finance with 6–8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications, with strong financial and accounting knowledge.
- Capable of analysing extensive financial data with accuracy and clarity.
- Experienced in stakeholder management with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiar with internal control frameworks; experience with SOX controls is beneficial.
- Able to operate independently with sound judgement in managing operational finance tasks.
