- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify veterans’ strengths, challenges, and goals
- Develop and implement individualized service plans tailored to each veteran’s employment, housing, and supportive service needs
- Employment & Financial Stability Support
- Connect veterans to job training, employment opportunities, and supportive services
- Conduct financial assessments and provide budgeting guidance to promote financial stability
- Housing Assistance & Stability
- Assist veterans in securing safe and stable housing
- Support veterans in accessing housing subsidies, utility assistance, and other resources to maintain stability
- Resource Coordination & Supportive Services
- Assist veterans in navigating VA benefits, Social Security, and other public assistance programs
- Maintain accurate case files, documentation, and reporting in compliance with program requirements
- Advocate for veterans’ rights and needs, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate assistance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in the area of human and/or social services or the behavioral sciences
- Licensed Social Worker designation is highly preferred
- Education and/or verifiable work experience with at-risk populations is required (homeless, veterans, behavioral health, drug/alcohol addiction, employment, youth, residential)
- Valid drivers license and transportation required
