About the role

  • Chief Information Officer leading large-scale tech transformation programs at Telefônica. Responsible for managing organizational change, technology architecture, and cultural initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale tech and cultural transformation programs.
  • Design and execute Change Management strategies for technology, architecture and modernization initiatives.
  • Connect corporate education, technical enablement and organizational transformation.
  • Define learning journeys aligned with business strategy.
  • Develop and consolidate corporate universities or structured tech enablement programs.
  • Integrate a culture of innovation, continuous learning and collaboration into daily organizational life.
  • Support leaders in managing structural, technological and behavioral changes.
  • Act as a bridge between executive areas, technology and operational teams.
  • Define adoption, engagement and organizational maturity metrics.
  • Lead strategic events and large-scale engagement initiatives.
  • Raise the maturity level in agile practices, architecture, quality and engineering.
  • Ensure that technological transformations are accompanied by cultural and skills development.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in executive leadership within technology and organizational transformation.
  • Previous experience in architecture, software development, quality and methodologies.
  • Experience structuring corporate education programs and fostering a tech culture.
  • Ability to design and implement Change Management strategies in complex environments.
  • Experience with digital transformation and technology modernization.
  • Strong understanding of cultural dynamics and human development in the tech context.
  • Ability to operate in large corporate environments across multiple areas.
  • Strategic business vision combined with deep technical knowledge.
  • Strong people orientation, empathy and collaboration.
  • Ability to influence executives and technical leadership.
  • Skill in turning learning into practical, measurable outcomes.
  • Proven track record leading initiatives recognized nationally and internationally.
