About the role

  • Performance Manager leading continuous improvement initiatives at McCormick. Responsible for providing leadership and expertise for loss analysis and employee engagement in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and Coach effective JTE systems.
  • Coach direct reports and site employees and SMEs on methodology and tools: Basic performance data and trends, Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, Loss Reduction Projects, Autonomous Maintenance
  • Lead and develop capability of Continuous Improvement team
  • Translate strategy into actionable information in a small group
  • Engage in the design and implementation of the site systems
  • Maintain integrity of site data through training, health checks, and change control
  • Provide analysis and insights to key performance metrics like Process Reliability, Productivity, Yield and Scrap
  • Own Loss Analysis program to support site’s OGSM and budget targets

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline is required
  • Minimum of 3 years working in manufacturing operations
  • Background in Total Productive Maintenance / Lean, Change Management and Organizational Effectiveness
  • Experience in a CPG preferred
  • Team and Operations Leadership experience preferred
  • Familiarity with creating reports using our current (and future) BI tools, e.g. SAP Hana, Tableau
  • Experience analyzing complex datasets, generating insights and building robust statistical models.
  • Ability to analyze complex information in order to make judgments and decisions.
