Responsibilities
- Execute higher-complexity audit engagements according to defined objectives and scopes, assessing internal controls and identifying risks and their operational impacts.
- Ensure the quality of audit planning and execution, guaranteeing adherence to internal audit methodology and global internal audit standards.
- Analyze test results, anticipate potential non-compliances and propose recommendations to improve internal processes.
- Prepare clear, concise reports to communicate results to process owners and ensure the adequacy of action plans proposed by those responsible.
- Maintain organization and integrity of documentation produced during audit engagements.
- Perform timely follow-up on action plans with process owners.
- Support the manager in preparing the Annual Audit Plan and other closing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related fields;
- Extensive proven experience in internal audit, external audit and/or internal controls;
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards (CPC) and international standards (IFRS); desirable knowledge of ESG regulations, with prior experience auditing processes considering ESG and/or implementing internal control systems related to ESG;
- Experience with data analytics applied to audit, including use of tools such as Power BI, ACL and Alteryx, and familiarity with extraction, loading and processing of data from IT systems;
- Experience in audit projects at publicly listed companies (CVM, SEC or other international markets) will be considered a differential;
- Broad perspective, digital mindset and experience with agile working methodologies.
