About the role

  • Sustainable Homes Auditor ensuring compliance with water efficiency standards across new housing developments. Conducting audits, inspections, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough audits and inspections of new developments to verify compliance with water efficiency standards
  • Analyse water usage data and identify trends or areas for improvement
  • Produce clear, evidence-based audit reports with recommendations for developers and internal teams
  • Work closely with developers, engineers, and internal stakeholders to drive improvements
  • Own audit outcomes, manage risks, and deal professionally with any challenging compliance situations
  • Stay up to date with changing regulations and industry standards

Requirements

  • Experience in audits or inspections (compliance or sustainability preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues others might miss
  • Confident communicating with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mindset and able to manage challenging situations on site
  • Collaborative approach, working well with internal teams and external partners
  • Able to analyse data, interpret trends, and turn insights into practical recommendations
  • Knowledge of water neutrality, sustainability standards, or environmental incentive schemes (Desirable)
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and share knowledge with the team (Desirable)
