About the role
- Lead Backend Engineer (Golang) developing banking products at Vivid's fintech startup. Collaborating with teams to build robust services for over 500,000 customers across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and continuously improve our VRM platform, powering customer service, chats, and seamless product integrations.
- Drive migration projects, such as replacing legacy solutions with custom integrations.
- Ensure the platform adapts to new product launches.
- Contribute to improving service quality and implementing new features.
- Collaborate with Product, Analysts, and other engineering teams to shape new features.
- Participate in architectural discussions and propose scalable solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend development experience using Golang
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, and event-driven systems (Kafka)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Previous experience in fintech or building banking applications is a big plus.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
