About the role

  • Financial Controller overseeing US and Canada Funds business for Vistra. Managing core accounting, reporting, treasury, and tax functions with significant growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the day-to-day accounting activities and accounting operational functions
  • Effectively leads and manages month-end, year-end close processes
  • Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the financial statements
  • Recommend and develop improvements to company’s revenue accounting
  • Prepare federal and state tax provisions for book reporting purposes
  • Provide support with insightful analysis on monthly financial results
  • Perform treasury functions
  • Plays a lead role with general ledger system conversion
  • Develop, implement and document policies, procedures, controls and SOPs
  • Trains, mentors and manages accounting staff

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience
  • 4 years as a proven, high-performing controller
  • CPA desirable, but not mandatory
  • Exposure to Financial Services sector preferred
  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Accounting
  • Experience SAP S/4HANA preferred
