About the role
- System Engineer designing innovative IT solutions for telecom clients. Will focus on Alcatel-Lucent and complex network environments.
Responsibilities
- Planning, implementation and operation of telecommunications (TK) systems with a focus on the vendor Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise
- Migration and modernization of existing telecommunications infrastructures
- Integration of UC (Unified Communications) and CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) solutions into complex customer environments
- Analysis, troubleshooting and optimization of existing telecommunications system installations, including upgrades and security updates
- Technical consulting for customers during projects and in ongoing operations, as well as preparation of technical documentation
Requirements
- Several years of experience in telecommunications and IT networking with solid operational and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of SIP protocols, VoIP networks and telephony standards
- Hands-on mentality combined with a clear understanding of architecture, processes and sustainable solutions
- Experience with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise products is a major plus
- Business-fluent German and good English, both written and spoken
