About the role

• Cloud Engineer at Axians designing and managing Azure infrastructures with a focus on automation and security. Collaborating with clients to implement and optimize Azure services.

Responsibilities

• You design, implement, and operate Azure infrastructures — from networking and security to automation and deployment.
• You help organizations implement, expand, and improve Azure services, aligning technical excellence with organizational requirements.
• You develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform or Bicep and use PowerShell to automate recurring tasks.
• You configure Entra ID, Conditional Access, and governance structures and advise on identity and access strategies.
• You design Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure deployments.
• You run workshops and reviews with client teams to develop cloud strategies, architectures, and operating models.
• You document solutions clearly and comprehensively — as a basis for operations, knowledge transfer, and further development.

Requirements

• Several years of experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure services (compute, networking, storage, security, monitoring)
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, and PowerShell
• Experience building and operating Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) and a deep understanding of Entra ID and modern identity & access concepts
• Ability to explain technical relationships clearly — in projects, workshops, and client discussions
• A strong consulting mindset: you think solution-focused, communicate clearly, and can place technical recommendations in a business context to genuinely help clients
• An independent, structured working style and enjoyment of teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment will help you succeed.
