About the role

  • Key Account Manager driving strategic customer relationships and sales growth in ICT sector. Engaging with clients to develop tailored solutions for long-term business success.

Responsibilities

  • Independent management and dynamic development of the assigned sales territory with direct impact on business success
  • Active maintenance of existing customer relationships and targeted outreach to potential new clients with a strategic focus
  • Consulting and sales of tailored IT, software, and digitalization projects
  • Central role in professionally handling public tenders: analysis, coordination, preparation of compelling proposals, and presentation of fit-for-purpose solutions to decision-makers
  • Preparation of precise quotes and contracts as well as negotiation and successful closing of deals
  • Organization and participation in targeted events with prospects, customers, and partners to strengthen market presence and nurture relationships

Requirements

  • Solid, several years of sales experience in consulting and successful selling of ICT, ERP, or DMS solutions
  • Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent qualification with relevant practical experience
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style with a strong results focus
  • Strong communicator with empathy, high initiative, and enjoyment of customer interaction
  • Hands-on mentality: flexible, resilient, motivated, and always solution-oriented
  • Professional demeanor combined with convincing impact and strong presence in customer settings
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital affinity
  • Fluent German (spoken and written), good command of English; French and/or Italian are a plus
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to act independently
  • Solid understanding of contract law (OR) and confident handling of legal frameworks
  • Valid driving license category B
  • Experience working with public administrations, especially with procurement processes, is a clear advantage
