About the role

  • Key Account Manager managing key client relationships and driving ICT sales initiatives in Switzerland. Focused on business development and customer satisfaction in the Swiss market.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible, independent management and dynamic development of the assigned sales territory with direct impact on business success
  • Active maintenance of existing customer relationships and targeted outreach to potential new clients with a strategic focus
  • Consulting and selling of tailored IT, software and digitalization projects
  • Central role in the professional handling of public tenders: analysis, coordination, preparation of compelling proposals and presentation of tailored solutions to decision-makers
  • Preparation of precise offers and contracts as well as negotiation and successful closing of deals
  • Organization and participation in targeted events with prospects, customers and partners to strengthen market presence and foster relationships

Requirements

  • Solid, several years of sales experience in consulting and successfully selling ICT, ERP or DMS solutions
  • Completed degree in business administration, computer science or an equivalent education with relevant practical experience
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style with a strong results focus
  • Strong communicator, empathetic personality with pronounced initiative and enjoyment of customer contact
  • Hands-on mentality: flexible, resilient, motivated and always solution-oriented
  • Professional demeanor combined with a convincing presence in customer-facing situations
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital affinity
  • Fluent German in spoken and written form, good English skills; French and/or Italian are a plus
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to act independently
  • Solid understanding of contract law (OR) and confident handling of legal frameworks
  • Driving license category B
  • Experience working with public administrations, especially with tendering processes, is a clear advantage
