About the role

  • Account Manager for Culinary driving customer engagement and market strategy in the flavor industry. Collaborating with decision makers and delivering tailored solutions in Shanghai, China.

Responsibilities

  • Support in building knowledge of specific market, customer environment and specific customer activities, strategies, brands, markets, consumers via all available sources
  • Build relationships with customer decision makers/influencers by holding regular meetings
  • Develop understanding of customer decision making criteria
  • Timely and accurately document customer visits and insights
  • Communicate client supply chain objectives, processes, organization, scorecards to IFF Operations
  • Consult with customer service on key customer supply issues and agree on communication /implementation plan with support of line management for more complex issues/solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Sciences or Engineering
  • 5+ Commercial or technical background from flavor, ingredient, processed meat, instant noodles or food additive industry
  • China local account sales experience
  • Broad Food & Beverage industry network
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Willing to travel & customer visit
