About the role
- Technicien(ne) Comptable managing accounts payable and receivable for VIBRANT's entities in Montreal. Collaborating with external clerks and assisting in month-end processes with a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Coordination of accounts payable for multiple entities
- Coordinate recording of accounts payable with the external accounts payable clerk
- Manage purchase orders (POs), validate taxes, review invoices, prepare payments
- Monitor approvals (POs, expense accounts), handle urgent payments
- Manage credit card transactions
- Oversee purchases made by credit card
- Manage the full transaction cycle with ambassadors
- Record invoices, expense accounts and payments
- Manage accounts receivable
- Invoicing, client budget analysis, billing follow-up, deposits & collections
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist the Assistant Controller with month-end close processes
- Other related duties.
Requirements
- Vocational (DEP) or college (DEC) diploma in accounting
- Experience with the full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycle
- Experience managing corporate credit cards and expense accounts
- Time management and organizational skills
- Self-sufficient, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple files simultaneously
- Experience with month-end close processes
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
