About the role

  • Comprador Pleno at Viapol executing procurement processes for construction materials. Responsible for ensuring best commercial conditions and collaborating with engineering and finance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Purchase materials following requests by e-mail, periodic schedules, or monitoring minimum stock levels;
  • Issue purchase orders and follow the approval workflow;
  • Contact suppliers to obtain quotes for prices, payment terms and lead times; prepare comparative analysis sheets, issue purchase orders, and monitor progress until material delivery;
  • Support the qualification/approval of new suppliers;
  • Keep vendor records and purchase system registrations up to date;
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Engineering, Production, Quality, Finance) to ensure procurement needs are met;
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement;
  • Commit to the objectives, targets and programs of VIAPOL's Integrated Policy;
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Administration, Accounting or related fields.
  • Training/Other knowledge: Required experience with SAP (integrated management system) and practical experience in procurement.
  • Preferred: English proficiency.
