Payroll Specialist handling payroll processing, contributions to social insurance, and HR support in a central Payroll team. Ensuring compliance and providing personal consultation for staff inquiries.
Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
Handle employee onboarding and offboarding as well as monthly payroll amendments
Manage processes with social insurance providers (AHV, UTG, KTG, pension fund, etc.)
Maintain and monitor accident and sickness absences in insurance tools
Process and review family allowance payments
Prepare payroll tax (withholding tax) reports and reconcile invoices
Perform account reconciliations and year-end payroll processing
Produce reports and statistics
Provide support for issues with automated time-tracking systems
Offer personal consultation to HR contacts and provide information on salary and social insurance matters
Requirements
Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification with further training in payroll/social insurance
Several years of professional experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of Swiss social insurance and labor law
Proficient in SAP HCM
Experience with timekeeping systems
Excellent German skills; English and/or French advantageous
