About the role

  • Payroll Specialist handling payroll processing, contributions to social insurance, and HR support in a central Payroll team. Ensuring compliance and providing personal consultation for staff inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding as well as monthly payroll amendments
  • Manage processes with social insurance providers (AHV, UTG, KTG, pension fund, etc.)
  • Maintain and monitor accident and sickness absences in insurance tools
  • Process and review family allowance payments
  • Prepare payroll tax (withholding tax) reports and reconcile invoices
  • Perform account reconciliations and year-end payroll processing
  • Produce reports and statistics
  • Provide support for issues with automated time-tracking systems
  • Offer personal consultation to HR contacts and provide information on salary and social insurance matters

Requirements

  • Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification with further training in payroll/social insurance
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss social insurance and labor law
  • Proficient in SAP HCM
  • Experience with timekeeping systems
  • Excellent German skills; English and/or French advantageous
  • Independent, precise and structured working style
