About the role
- Payroll Specialist handling payroll processing, contributions to social insurance, and HR support in a central Payroll team. Ensuring compliance and providing personal consultation for staff inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Handle employee onboarding and offboarding as well as monthly payroll amendments
- Manage processes with social insurance providers (AHV, UTG, KTG, pension fund, etc.)
- Maintain and monitor accident and sickness absences in insurance tools
- Process and review family allowance payments
- Prepare payroll tax (withholding tax) reports and reconcile invoices
- Perform account reconciliations and year-end payroll processing
- Produce reports and statistics
- Provide support for issues with automated time-tracking systems
- Offer personal consultation to HR contacts and provide information on salary and social insurance matters
Requirements
- Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification with further training in payroll/social insurance
- Several years of professional experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Swiss social insurance and labor law
- Proficient in SAP HCM
- Experience with timekeeping systems
- Excellent German skills; English and/or French advantageous
- Independent, precise and structured working style
