About the role
- Finance & Accounting Officer managing day-to-day financial and accounting operations in Jakarta. Supporting audits, reports, and compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions (AP, AR, GL).
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Monitor cash flow and perform bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Support management reporting and financial analysis.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and explanations as required.
- Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders during audit activities.
- Follow up on audit findings and support implementation of corrective actions.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
- Track expenses and analyze variances against budget.
- Support cost control initiatives and financial efficiency.
- Prepare and submit tax filings in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.
- Support coordination with tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and standard operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
- Support implementation and improvement of accounting systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Fluent in English both verbal and written.
