About the role
- Purchasing role at Globo managing services and materials for audiovisual effects projects. Engaging with supplies and supporting engineering activities in scenography and special effects.
Responsibilities
- Contract services and materials required to build set structures;
- Procure specific materials such as locks, doorknobs, flooring and timber;
- Manage set assembly and dismantling services;
- Supervise set construction and civil works at scenic town/filming locations;
- Import materials and equipment;
- Purchase inventory items to meet ongoing needs;
- Support engineering activities related to scenography;
- Provide special effects required for scenes.
Requirements
- High school diploma;
- Proficiency with Office (Microsoft Office);
- Experience in Supplies/Procurement;
- Driver's license — Class B;
- Skills: Communication and Negotiation;
- Experience: Retail purchasing and contact with audiovisual and/or special effects;
- Higher education (desired).
- Degree in Audiovisual (Film, Radio and TV or related) or in retail purchasing (desirable);
- Experience assisting Engineering for audiovisual projects or Special Effects (desirable).
