About the role

  • Business Process Owner overseeing stock life-cycle management projects in Supply Chain. Collaborating with teams to optimize logistics and enhance operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects aimed at optimizing the value chain of the stock life cycle: reverse logistics management, optimization of warehouse storage strategies, improvement of operational stock management processes, etc.
  • Act as the interface between the business (identifying, collecting and challenging requirements) and the VPTech teams responsible for enhancing our production tools.
  • Build, update and optimize KPIs and decision-support tools.
  • Organize and lead workshops as part of project activities.
  • Analyze business processes to identify waste/non–value-added activities, determine possible improvements and business requirements.
  • Write functional specifications when optimizations involve IT systems.
  • Define and implement action plans (travel within our logistics network may be required).
  • Lead change management activities for the projects undertaken.
  • Establish regular project progress reporting (achievements, challenges, KPIs, etc.).
  • Maintain and update the documentation repository (procedures, best practices).

Requirements

  • Master's degree in engineering or equivalent (Bac+5).
  • 3–5 years' experience in a consulting firm (focused on Supply/Logistics) or as a project manager within a major supply chain or logistics organization.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills; autonomous, proactive and results-oriented. Able to manage priorities and focused on progress and continuous improvement. Proven ability to build constructive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Pragmatism, adaptability and strong organizational skills are key assets.
  • Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency with office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies is an asset (Lean manufacturing/management tools, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Spanish language skills.
