About the role

  • Account Manager focusing on expanding simulation solutions and client relationships across Germany. Engaging customers and managing implementation of Siemens and Altair simulation solutions, with a focus on long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Expand our simulation division by applying our expertise strategically with existing and new customers
  • Build long-term customer relationships based on this expertise to drive nationwide implementation and consulting of our Siemens and Altair simulation solutions
  • Delight customers with tailored simulation enhancements that, through your technical analysis, are seamlessly integrated into their existing PLM/CAD environments
  • Collaborate with our consultants to demonstrate our added value as a Siemens Expert Partner in the customization and configuration of Siemens and Altair simulation software
  • Take independent revenue responsibility for your sales territory across Germany
  • Conduct professional contract negotiations and benefit from internal and external training and development opportunities
  • Work closely with your sales colleagues in adjacent areas (PLM/PDM and CAM) and leverage synergies for new leads or joint deals

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in a technical or commercial/business field
  • Several years of sales or consulting experience with complex simulation software solutions
  • Proven track record in acquisition and negotiation via common channels such as phone, video, or in-person visits
  • Excellent German language skills are required; English skills are a plus
