Responsibilities
Achieve sales and margin targets for defined customers in the retail/trade and homecare sectors
Develop and maintain customer relationships with specialist retailers, homecare companies and other professional wound care providers
Business development – acquire new customers, expand new sales channels, especially online retail, and explore strategic partnerships
Negotiate framework agreements, listings and terms in collaboration with management and purchasing teams of retail partners
Create customer development plans and ensure achievement of targets
Conduct strategic annual discussions with managing directors in the retail sector
Deliver presentations to customers and at internal meetings
Perform market and competitor analyses and derive actions to increase market penetration
Further develop strategies and activities in the retail/trade area
Collaborate with marketing, e.g., designing customer activities, product launches, and portfolio optimization
Collaborate with Market Access and reimbursement management
Requirements
Several years of proven success in Key Account Management, ideally in medical device retail
Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication and presentation abilities
Strategic thinker with strong conceptual skills
Extensive negotiation experience and well-established contacts with managing directors
Solid knowledge of the German healthcare system (e.g., reimbursement)
Excellent understanding of business and financial interrelations
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Fluent German and English, spoken and written
High willingness to travel and stay overnight is required
