- Serve as a trusted advisor to Special Projects leadership and Project Managers
- Ensure regulatory compliance related to remediation and construction safety
- Integrate EHS controls into planning and execution for live and energized systems
- Establish contractor EHS expectations and accountability mechanisms
- Oversee incident prevention strategies and investigations
- Develop EHS staffing strategies for Special Projects
- Coach and mentor EHS Managers assigned to Special Projects
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading safety, risk, or operational oversight in high-risk environments
- Ability to operate confidently in live or operational environments
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% across North America
- Preferred certifications: CSP, ASP, CIH, CHST, CHMM, NEBOSH, PMP, PE
