Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of document control for all construction projects, from initiation through closeout.
Develop, implement, and maintain standardized document control systems and processes.
Develop and maintain templates for project reporting, compliance, and technical documentation.
Administer Procore platform including document hierarchy, naming conventions, workflows, permissions, and compliance checks.
Provide training and support to users on the effective use of the EDMS and document control procedures.
Establish, maintain, and administer the electronic document management system (EDMS) and/or physical filing systems.
Facilitate the timely setup and onboarding of vendors in accordance with document control requirements.
Ensure all documents are properly reviewed, approved, archived, and retrievable per corporate standards.
Act as the primary liaison between project teams, legal, and accounting departments for all document-related matters.
Train and mentor Project Coordinators and other staff in document control best practices and procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
Minimum 3 years of experience in document control or project coordination within construction environments, with audit experience strongly preferred.
Data center construction experience is a significant plus.
Familiarity with CSA and MEP disciplines and their associated documentation.
Experience using Procore or similar construction/project management software.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
