About the role
- Electrical Design Engineer creating electrical designs and collaborating on projects related to logistics automation in Dubai. Responsible for documenting designs, ensuring quality, and cross-department collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Create single line diagrams and perform electrical power calculations
- Analyze tender specifications and design drawings
- Create detailed design layouts and wiring diagrams using ePLAN
- Manage projects with REVIT software
- Develop project documentation including functional design specs and training manuals
- Create reports and schedules for material ordering
- Collaborate with various departments such as Mechanical and Procurement teams
- Ensure project quality procedures are followed
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of professional experience in electrical design and installation practices in the Logistics automation domain
- Hand on experience of REVIT, CANECO BT, Autocad, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft word, Power point
- Knowledge of Eplan P8 would be an added advantage
- Prior knowledge of trunking & cable layout design with clear installation practices
- Effective interpersonal skills, ability to engage internal & external stakeholders, and good to have worked in multicultural environment
- PLC knowledge would be an advantage
