Responsibilities
Leads and/or coordinates quality topics (internal/ external) of the assigned organization unit(s)
Ensures cross-functional cooperation with Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing and relevant suppliers to achieve quality business goals
Collaborating with project execution, commissioning, procurement, health and safety and other project teams to create a supportive and inclusive work environment
Develops, controls and ensures the implementation and improvement of a project-specific QM system documented in the project quality plan
Ensures the implementation and improvement of a project quality reporting as an integrated part of project reporting
Contributes to project planning to ensure that project-specific, quality-relevant requirements are considered starting with the sales phase
Initiates training for project employees concerning quality (e.g. methods and processes)
Support the Project Manager on all topics relevant to product safety, in close cooperation with the QM of the Subdivision / Functional Division / Functional Department and the Division Product Safety Consultant
By means of audits and reviews, the QMiP checks that the quality requirements are implemented
The QMiP takes part in defining and checking processes, and if deviations from the targets are found, he derives corrective measures
QMiP also derives suggestions for improving the processes, and passes them to the process owner in charge
Develops, controls and ensures the implementation of a quality plan (incl. quality assurance measures such as review/test/validation / ...) for the project derived from the existing QM system agreed upon with the own organization, customer, partners and suppliers
Requirements
University degree
Fluent in Portuguese and English is mandatory
Analytical skills
Ability to integrate with teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in a similar role is a plus
Previous experience in ISO 9001 will be valued
Experience in Continuous Improvement/ Control Systems Management will be valued
Knowledge in Total Quality Management and Quality Process Automation is highly valued
Availability for occasional travel to overseas operating sites
