Responsibilities
Develop procurement strategies during the contractual proposal phase, seeking realistic and creative solutions that ensure the feasibility of contracts within parameters agreed with the Commercial area and the project plans of the assigned contract managers.
Plan and guide teams on tactical schemes for procurement, receipt and warehousing of materials and equipment to ensure contract execution and optimize resource use.
Plan, coordinate and monitor procurement and warehouse procedures and routines, defining policies and management and control systems for supplies, goods receipt, inventory, storage, dispatch, and traceability of documentation, information and reports, operational systems and related areas.
Establish working methods and internal customer service standards, monitoring and controlling their development to ensure achievement of scheduled targets.
Identify and define specific programs and projects to optimize resources and achieve proposed objectives.
Prepare and manage the area budget, always seeking resource optimization and cost controls.
Define supplier performance criteria for use across business units, seeking partnerships or agency arrangements, domestic or international, creating qualification models and monitoring performance to ensure required standards.
Manage payment terms and conditions with major suppliers, domestic or international, promoting negotiations and strengthening relationships to align financial possibilities with other interests.
Handle complex issues related to release of documents, goods and third-party services, domestic or foreign, seeking solutions with clients or official representatives, agents and partners to protect the company's interests.
Prepare reports and correspondence for contract managers, Senior Management, and public or private organizations to present results or technical matters related to the area.
Participate in developing the company's supply policy by providing indicators, recommending management strategies, suggesting preventive or corrective administrative procedures, action plans, priorities and other elements that contribute to defining overall and specific objectives aligned with other company areas.
Responsible for the company's administrative management, ensuring operational efficiency, contract control, facilities, general services and support to departments, guaranteeing compliance, resource optimization and adherence to corporate guidelines.
Foster the professional growth of the team, guiding motivation and behavioral aspects—especially under pressure or adverse conditions—as well as performance evaluations, recommendations for job moves, salary adjustments, training, etc., to provide opportunities for development and career growth.
Keep up to date on the company's various businesses and corporate guidelines, as well as applicable legislation, official procedures and normative instructions relevant to the area of work to ensure the necessary knowledge for the role.
Ensure implementation, adherence and improvement of the SGI (Integrated Management System - IMS) by developing and maintaining systems, standards, products, initiatives, audits, investigations of non-conformities, accidents and incidents, taking corrective actions, and conducting evaluations of Aspects & Impacts and Risks & Hazards; promote commitment and responsibility to disseminate, motivate, exemplify, achieve and evolve the governing, normative and legal precepts and acts related to the SGI.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
Knowledge of customs legislation and international trade.
MBA, specialization or continuing education in relevant areas.
Courses related to business management, people management and corporate finance.
Registration with the relevant professional regulatory body.
Knowledge of business indicators (Marketing, Finance, Operations, SGI), budget cycle and corporate policies (SGI/IMS, IT, HR, etc.).
Familiarity with SGI programs, code of ethics and the company's strategic plans.
More than 5 years' experience in materials and supply management, preferably in large organizations.
