About the role
- Lead Specialist managing Procure-to-Pay operations at GES. Resolving P2P matters and ensuring compliance in purchasing and invoice processing.
Responsibilities
- Acts as the primary contact for all Procure-to-Pay (P2P) matters.
- Handling Level 1 escalations, blocked invoices, and exceptions while ensuring smooth purchasing.
- Ensuring timely delivery, invoice processing, and GR/IR reconciliation.
- Monitor transactions, resolve issues through root cause analysis, drive process improvements.
- Provide foreign language support and training to ensure compliance and effective use of procurement systems.
- Coordinate closely with stakeholders, suppliers, and procurement teams to maintain efficient P2P operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including purchasing and/or accounts payable.
- Strong hands-on exposure to P2P systems and purchasing applications.
- University degree or equivalent higher education, with a commercial education and business-oriented mindset.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles (2+ years).
- In-depth knowledge of P2P functional processes, including purchasing, accounts payable, and master data management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders.
