About the role
- IT Project & Delivery Management Consultant driving IT delivery initiatives at Valcon. Leading programs, mentoring teams, and aligning strategies with client goals in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex IT delivery programs, ensuring alignment with the client’s strategic goals.
- Design and deliver end-to-end IT solutions, from architecture to implementation.
- Develop technology departments by building capabilities and implementing governance structures.
- Advise on and implement modern application delivery and data platforms.
- Drive digital transformation by optimising processes and enabling new business models through technology.
- Spot opportunities for new projects and shape them into concrete assignments for Valcon, contributing to the growth of our business.
- Mentor junior consultants, help shape the growth of Valcon’s ITPDM practice, and contribute to thought leadership in the IT consulting space.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience in IT project management, business analysis, or consultancy.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Management, or Computer Science).
- Experience in leading teams and managing stakeholders in complex client environments.
- Affinity with technology, such as application development or low-/high-code solutions.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong leadership skills and a results-driven mindset.
- Experience with agile working and program management methodologies.
