About the role

  • Service Business Development Manager driving service revenue growth in China. Overseeing service offerings and ensuring alignment with sales and marketing strategies across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving service revenue growth in China according to APAC service development strategy.
  • Build service business capabilities in China and expand the scope of service business in depth and breadth.
  • Ensure Service BD matches with short term and long-term targets in VIM China.
  • Drive the service business strategy of China according to APAC strategy.
  • Align with sales / marketing team on service targets and achievement for each fiscal year.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis reports on service business, including but not limited to market analysis, business trends, competitive product analysis, and sales forecasts, etc.
  • Champion service innovation through market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive benchmarking.

Requirements

  • Masters’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of sales or customer-facing experience in technical services, life sciences within industrial solutions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce etc.)
  • Understanding of compliance and calibration standards is a plus.
