About the role

  • Territory Manager driving sales and managing customer relationships in the foodservice industry. Nurturing accounts and acquiring new business at US Foods, a leading food distributor.

Responsibilities

  • Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team based selling model
  • Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations
  • Drive Sales Success measured by selling to customers and increasing case growth
  • Work collaboratively with our Specialists and other departments
  • Develop new business by identifying prospective customers
  • Manage deliveries to the routing schedule
  • Know the market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products

Requirements

  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver’s license is required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Tech-savviness – proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs
