About the role

  • CT CDO Relationship Manager developing Corporate Trust client relationships for U.S. Bank. Responsible for providing quality service, identifying risks, and implementing operational changes.

Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with business development officers, responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Corporate Trust clients
  • Reviews and accepts new client relationships based on business line account acceptance policies and procedures
  • Provides quality service based on client needs, wants, and expectations
  • Works closely with new business development staff
  • Identifies business risks and operational challenges and takes steps to mitigate risk
  • Coordinates the development and implementation of operational changes within the unit
  • May be responsible for meeting certain revenue, new business and expense goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge of corporate trust and investment instruments
  • Thorough knowledge of account management, trust operations, project management, and legal regulations
  • Advanced knowledge of the applicable trust line of business, its products, processes, and related bank and regulatory regulations
  • Ability to develop new business
  • Effective management skills to include planning, budgeting, and people management
  • Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
  • Ability to communicate quickly with clients to resolve client issues and disputes
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
