Responsibilities

• Design and optimize data systems that not only answer business questions — but produce actionable insights no one thought to ask.
• Blend hands-on SQL and data modeling with storytelling and decision influence.
• Transform raw data into clarity, uncover patterns hidden in plain sight.
• Help shape critical business strategies through insight.

Requirements

• Master's degree in data and technology management, or equivalent work experience
• Ten or more years of experience in data management and business intelligence in the financial services industry
• Outstanding data analysis and critical-thinking skills — ability to find the “story in the data”
• Analytics & business alignment converts fuzzy questions into precise, production-ready SQL metrics (clear grain/filters/denominators); builds time-series analyses (sessionization, cohorts, funnels, retention) and point-in-time SCD lookups that match business definitions.
• Expert-level SQL Craft (Oracle preferred) with proven experience in - complex querying, query tuning and performance optimization
• Strong data modeling and data architecture expertise (conceptual, logical, physical models)
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data validation)
• Ability to answer questions that haven’t been asked — proactive insight generation
• Excellent communication skills — can translate analytical findings into compelling narratives
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
