About the role

  • Director of Workforce Enablement & Transformation at USAA guiding workforce transformation initiatives and building high-performing teams. Focused on delivering future-ready solutions aligned to business transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Fuel enterprise-wide workforce transformation by reimaging key workforce levers across performance, mobility, skills, workforce health, and talent technology.
  • Guide director-level leaders in reimagining and delivering future-ready solutions, aligned to the business transformation strategy, that enable agility, growth, workforce effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of talent solution architects who will transform association wide talent practices in service of the business transformation strategy.
  • Develop scalable tools, sustainable processes, and frameworks to ensure consistent practices across the association.
  • Redesign key practices, process, and tools that will enable our strategic workforce transformation.
  • Lead strategic planning of change driving interventions aligned to the business and talent strategy.
  • Collaborate across HR COEs and HRBPs, HR Technology, Finance, Operations, and other key stakeholders to align enabling levers with enterprise strategy.
  • Integrate workforce planning with enterprise functions including HR, CFO, CRE, Risk, and Enterprise Planning and drive adoption of practices and process.
  • Ensure planning processes operate within established risk, compliance, and performance thresholds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • 8+ years in human capital consulting, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and/or workforce strategy
  • Proven success leading large-scale transformation initiative
  • Breadth of experience across the full talent ecosystem with deep expertise in performance, skills, talent mobility and workforce
  • Strong understanding of talent technology ecosystems
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and enterprise collaboration skills
  • Strategic thinker with systems design and change leadership capabilities
