Responsibilities
Technical leadership of web platform projects with responsibility for architecture, quality and scalability
Proactive stakeholder management, bridging the gap between clients' business and technology areas and our implementation teams
Mentoring and conducting code reviews for frontend developers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing within the team
Aligning with internal stakeholders and driving technical decisions, tooling and technology strategy
Designing and evolving scalable component architectures and clean code standards based on Astro, React or Vue and their respective meta-frameworks
Close collaboration with UX, backend and project management to translate requirements into sustainable technical solutions
Integration of enterprise-grade headless and traditional (headful) CMS solutions (e.g., Storyblok, Contentful, FirstSpirit, Sitecore), typically involving integration with multiple third-party systems
Requirements
5+ years of experience in frontend development, including 2+ years leading a development team
Strong leadership skills to drive technology decisions and lead a development team
Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
High sense of ownership, quality awareness, and structured, solution-oriented thinking
Strong knowledge of TypeScript and at least one of the frameworks Astro, React or Vue
Familiarity with modern build tools and CI/CD pipelines (Vite, Webpack, GitHub Actions, etc.)
Experience in frontend performance optimization and monitoring (Core Web Vitals, profiling)
Deep understanding of UX principles, responsive design and accessibility standards
Experience with frontend testing strategies and quality assurance
Very good written and spoken German or English skills
