About the role

  • Marketing Lead managing end-to-end strategy for Upway, a leading e-bike marketplace. Driving growth in France and Southern Europe through innovative marketing channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to the FRSE region, addressing each stage from awareness to conversion
  • Plan, manage, and scale campaigns across SEA, SEO, Affiliate, Paid Social, Email, Influencer Marketing, PR, OOH, and other relevant channels.
  • Define and continuously refine Upway’s brand positioning in FRSE to establish it as the go-to destination for refurbished e-bikes.
  • Track, analyze, and optimize key growth metrics including CAC, CPS, and ROI to ensure sustainable business growth.
  • Work closely with global performance and product teams, as well as local operations and logistics, to align marketing with overall business objectives
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing local marketing team.
  • Continuously test and evaluate new formats, partnerships, and creative concepts to drive growth and engagement.

Requirements

  • 7 - 10+ years of experience in marketing or growth roles, ideally in fast-paced, performance-driven environments (marketplaces, e-commerce, mobility, D2C)
  • Strong understanding of performance channels (paid search, paid social, CRM) and ability to interpret data to drive decisions
  • Solid experience and understanding of SEO, including keyword optimisation, on-page fundamentals, and coordination with content/tech teams to improve organic visibility
  • Proven ability to plan and execute multi-channel campaigns with measurable results (CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, traffic).
  • Experience managing and optimising a marketing budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable with dashboards, experimentation, and weekly performance reviews
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, prioritise effectively, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-moving environment.
